The Storm And The Sail

The cold nights may cause your quiver

But rest easy my love, as I warm your shiver

Don’t look towards the whirlwind drawing near

Stare at me instead, I will shelter you clear

No storm will lift you tonight

I will always reel you in before such flight

And when the chaos subsides

When it appears as if your fight has died

Try and remember a simple detail…

When this life’s burdens seem to prevail

I will always blow my lung’s wind onto your sail
